Therapy Services

Assessment: An assessment is administered by a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist or Occupational Therapist. At an assessment, the SLP or OT will gather information regarding the areas of focus and develop a treatment plan with individualized goals for the client.

Therapy Services: These generally range from 1-3 times per week and from 30-45 minutes. The duration and frequency of the services will be determined based on the client’s needs following the assessment.

Occupational Therapy

Pediatric occupational therapy supports a child’s ability to participate in daily activities. Occupational therapists strive to assist your child live life to its fullest!

Speech Therapy

Feeding

Feeding therapy assists children with various aspects of feeding including sensory aversions, picky eating, finger feeding, utensil use, chewing, and swallowing. 

AAC

At Insight Therapy Center, we aim to provide a means of communication to every child that we can. Sometimes that looks like modes that are different that oral or spoken language.

First Steps and Magnolia PEC

We contract with two local agencies to assist in providing services to the Early Intervention Program facilitated through First Steps as well as Magnolia P.E.C. Center in Laurel, Mississippi.
