Assessment

We provide a comprehensive assessment for language and learning disorders. Our assessment includes a number of individual tests that address the following:

  • IQ/Ability
  • Oral Language
  • Phonological Processing
  • Oral Reading
  • Memory
  • Speeded Processing
  • Achievement (Spelling, Mathematics, Writing, and Reading)

This comprehensive assessment gives us a clear picture of the child as it relates to a variety of skills. Dr. Mathews with differentially diagnose based on the profile of the child.

Dyslexia Therapy

We provide evidence-based dyslexia therapy to anyone who has a formal diagnosis (from anywhere). At Insight, we currently provide two types of Dyslexia services: Neuhaus Method and Association Method.

Dyslexia therapy is provided 2-3 times per week for a minimum of 2 hours per week.
