Feeding
What is Feeding Therapy
Feeding therapy assists children with various aspects of feeding including sensory aversions, picky eating, finger feeding, utensil use, chewing, and swallowing. Treatment is individualized and tailored to address the underlying issues related to the feeding difficulty. Our therapists will utilize the information provided and assessed on the initial evaluation to meet your child’s specific needs.
Would my child benefit from Feeding Therapy?
Your child may benefit from feeding therapy if they have:
- sensory sensitivities or a very limited diet
- oral motor deficits
- difficulty using utensils or self feeding
- difficulty weaning from a feeding tube
- behavior issues related to feeding

SOS Approach
