Mary Morgan Surrett

Mary Morgan has her Master of Occupational Therapy degree from The University of Mississippi Medical Center. Her favorite thing about Insight Therapy Center is the service-based mission. Some of the most impactful things she has been involved in at Insight is providing Speech and OT screeners in daycares, educating families, and spreading awareness.  Mary Morgan said her favorite memory at Insight is all the fun events they do with the kids. Her favorite meal is Mexican with ice cream for dessert! Mary Morgan is married to Eric Surrett and they have one dog named Dakota.

We love it here! My boy has a speech delay and works with Mrs. Ivey. He absolutely loves her and runs to her every time. She’s so wonderful with him and his speech is improving. After each session we go over how he did and what they worked on. I also have a file of handouts Mrs. Ivey gives us so we can continue working with him at home.

Reagan did an AAC device consultation/evaluation for my son. She was very warm and friendly. She pointed out all of the positive things my son was doing with his words and his voice that is helpful for language development and hopefully will help move towards him becoming a speaking child one day. You can tell she really cares about her patients and advocates for their needs. As a parent of a special needs child, we are so often bombarded with all of the things they cannot do and how they do not measure up to their peers. This was the first time in a long time that I left a meeting about my child feeling excited about the future so thank you, Reagan, for being an angel on Earth for our little ASD warriors. Your kindness means more than you know!
